Explore the world of wine through WSET’s Online Classroom. Study at times that suit you, with structured online learning and tutor support throughout the five-week course.

The e-book is provided for your studies. The digital certificate is awarded after you pass the examination. No shipping fees apply.
How You Will Study
The course has fixed start and end dates, but you can complete the online lessons, activities and tests at times that suit you. A dedicated online tutor is available to answer questions during the course.
Please allow at least six hours of study per week. This is flexible online learning rather than scheduled live classes.

Entry Requirements
No prior wine knowledge or qualification is required. You do not need to complete WSET Level 1 before enrolling.
Wine Tasting
You will receive guidance on suitable wine styles to purchase and taste independently. Wines are not included in the course fee.
There is no tasting component in the examination.
Online Examination
The closed-book examination consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 60 minutes. A minimum score of 55% is required to pass.
Your remotely invigilated online examination date will be arranged through AB Wine Academy. The examination itself is administered and remotely invigilated by WSET. Please check the technical requirements before booking.
Technical Requirements
You will need a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection for online study.
For the online examination, you will also need an additional compatible device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Full technical and room requirements will be provided before the examination.
Certification
Upon passing the examination, you will receive a WSET digital certificate. Online study leads to the same WSET qualification as classroom study.
